Mr Vleugels studied chemical engineering at the University of Antwerp. He has been working in research and development of the Pharmaceutical industry for more than 8 years, where he was responsible for the global logistics of investigational medicinal products. His responsibilities include identifying and deploying optimal solutions that address the storage and distribution temperature needs of the EMEA region for all products of Johnson & Johnson including Pharma, Consumer and Medical Devices.
